On 5th July 2008 we held a "Glyndbourne "style summer prom concert in Church.  Villagers were invited to bring a friend, a picnic and share a glass of Pimms/Bucks Fizz is our beautiful churchyard.  Classical Pianist David Martin performed a programme of Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy and Haydn to the delight of the audience. Mark Goodwin Pianos of Rochdale www.markgoodwinpianos.co.uk kindly sponsored the event, providing a superb concert piano for the event free of charge.
