On a recent trip to the Lakes, John and I visited Rydal Mount home of William Wordsworth, and after a good cup of Coffee in the visitors centre we made our way in to the garden in the hope of seeing a "host of golden daffodils" in Dora's field, the old gardener told us we were a bit too early! But as compensation we did see plenty of snow drops and crocus, and the bird song was wonderful. |
