TEAM CELL TO MULTIPLY!

One of the concepts in Cell Church is that Cell groups multiply… one becomes two… and then each one of those becomes two further Cell Groups… and so growth takes place.

Our first Team Cell, begun in mid July of last year, has multiplied: to become two. Ian Rogerson and Jeff Arcus who have led the first Team Cell are each now leading a Cell Group. Additional members of the Cell Groups have come from the recently finished Alpha course.

Asked about what being in the Team Cell Group means some comments from the present members include:

Cell life gives one a sense of belonging, sharing, communicating and understanding which helps to sustain your spiritual journey.

Cell has made me more confident in my own ability to read and understand the word of God, and to express my feelings to a group of people

Having ‘graduated’ from Alpha, Team Cell gives me the skills, friendship, love and support I need to walk closer to God..

We’ve been enriched and blessed through the process of sharing.

I am drawn to Cell Group meetings – they are an absolute priority in my week. There has to be a very good reason to miss.

Team Cell has been gathering weekly with each meeting divided into four sections – the 4 Ws. These are Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness. Each is usually led by different members of the Cell. The activity of the Cell Group is intended to live out the Cell Church principles – A B C D E:
- All involved
- Becoming disciples
- Creating community
- Doing evangelism
- Encountering God
